The great thing about Mastodon is that i completely broke my social media addiction which started in 2017
I quit Twitter in Oct 2022 when Elon Musk bought it and allowed orange Republican sociopaths to post death threats every day
Now I check social media once a day for 2 seconds

Does anybody know why I can't clear my notifications on Mastodon ???
I can't clear them, scroll thru them, they are always there, the same week after week
I hate notification flags that never go away
About 1/week I check out Twitter to see what's happening,
usually for sports, see what's Trending, then see what's up
I was a Twitter guy for yrs before 2016-17, I had 2 big accounts...
i left in Nov.
WOW, all it is now is very angry people, insults, arguing, name calling & death threats...
Why would anyone need that in their life, why would you use that platform ?
Doesn't matter if it's sports, politics, music, movies or Real Housewives
