I'm an old Canadian and an old Phart too. 😁 I take life as seriously as the current situation requires. I block cross-posts from X, Truth Social and Bluesky. Not interested in them. Any toots I post, that are not in English, are via online translator.
I do *NOT* DM with with anyone I haven't interacted with in public. Saying "Hi", without anything else, doesn't count.

@fak If they are, there's usually 2 suits, 2 dresses, or one of each.
I found a great way to never be bothered by them. They usually show up between 8AM and 9AM Saturday mornings. I invited them in, telling them I was about to have breakfast. I asked if they'd like some. "I'm having eggs and blood sausage."
They magically remembered they had to be across town in 5 minutes. 😂

@Atirut I've had that sort of thing happen too. It was so bad once that the download stopped because the download was moving at less than around 1Kbp, or some such thing.
