Had a little walk today with the much better half, we are fortunate enough to live very close to an area of outstanding natural beauty. It was quite sunny, albeit somewhat chilly. Imagine my surprise to see a ballet dancer in a leotard on a bridge over the local river posing for a photographer. The locals just carried on with their walks as if seeing a ballerina was an everyday occurrence! Well done all! No photo or banana because I respect her privacy.

I have acoustic animal ‘scarers’ as I love seeing the birds in my garden. They don’t work on birds of prey! A couple of weeks ago some form of pigeon was food for the raptor, on Sunday morning it was a blackbird. It had been plucked, decapitated and both breasts had been consumed. Nature, red in tooth and claw. The birds of prey must eat too. Still a little sad. The odd thing is I still have a pair of blackbirds visiting my garden eating worms and insects. They seem to just accept it.

Update, I’ve done a little research. It’s really not good. 🤗. I choose to put it down to her advancing years, as well as her struggles with her mental health. I’ve no idea why she chooses to denigrate me, but I suppose I’m best placed of the rest of my siblings to ride out this pointless attack.
A personal memory. I’ve just had my 75th birthday. Has my life been all milk and honey? Of course not. Have I lived in relative peace? Yes. Have my earnings been enough to sustain a reasonable life? Yes! Are there things I should and could have done differently? Certainly. Have I been fortunate enough to have people who love me and who I love, unconditionally? Yes! Am I feared of death? No, I’m not ready yet, but that’s probably not my choice. Do I have regrets? I don’t, nor should you! Peace! ❤️
