At long last, the article describing the #GloSIS web #ontology was finally published. Fourty four months elapsed from first submission, a sustained, toilsome effort. During that time 11 new versions were released, to what is now a stouter and broader framework to encode and share #SoilInformation.
But more than that, GloSIS now encloses a unique wealth of knowledge on #Soil and its assessment. Relevant to #SoilScience at large.

Looks like my migration to codeberg will also be updating my resume, writing some introductory bits to my current projects, and hoping the 10k lines of code I've written this year makes up for a very large gap in my resume.
I'd love to do something other than find an industry job, but unfortunately, I think my younger self squandered any chances I had left in academia.
