@mary Good developers review their own code. Just writing code and not reviewing, is like gen AI, with the false sense of confidence.

Writing code + reviewing own code ≈ reviewing others code (initially). Getting better at reviewing others code is the skill to sharpen.

@docpop maybe the self-driving cars mostly don't have passengers because they're still being used for training and certification? After all the service is not yet fully rolled out.

I have my first #Blaugust2023 post, I meant to post this a few weeks ago actually and then stuff happened. Aiming for 5 posts this month.

One thing with this post is that it is aimed at a pretty specific audience - people who live in SF who want to do this kind of thing and don't know where to start - and I'm not sure how a more general #Blaugust audience would see it.

Anyway it's about traveling places from SF using only a bike or transit.
