We will investigate how difficult it would be to make the sidebar resizable and/or to make the socket texts editable on the canvas.
Making the inspector be a separate window is unfortunately not possible in the foreseeable future, because the technical framework we are using does not have robust enough multi-window support yet.
@metaning No promises yet, but there is certainly a chance!
We are planning on adding "notes" to each node which can live off the canvas/in the inspector, so it might become necessary to make it resizable, anyways.
