The Rutgers Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (RAD) Collaboratory is seeking one or more Research Programmers to support leveraging modern Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) techniques by Rutgers faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students. The ideal candidate will have a strong ML/DL and cyberinfrastructure (CI) background and a willingness to contribute to interdisciplinary research across diverse basic and applied science and engineering domains.Responsibilities will include:ā Design, develop, and deploy ML/DL algorithms for domain science and engineering fieldsā Support RAD Collaboratory research on national cyberinfrastructure (e.g., ACCESS, NAIRR, and DOE supercomputers) or cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, and Azure)ā Support application of ML/DL/CI techniques across topics and domainsā Deliver training on ML/DL/CI techniques and best practices to a broad range of researchersā Stay at the forefront of new ML/DL techniques and ML/DL systems that support science and engineering researchā Co-author peer-reviewed interdisciplinary research publicationsā Contribute to funding applications from external sources (e.g., NSF, NIH)

The Bioinformatics/Research Software Development group in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics (LSI) at Princeton University is hiring a Senior Research Software Development Manager, reporting to the Assistant Director of the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics. The Bioinformatics/Research Software Development group provides computational research expertise to the faculty, staff, and students in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics. The Institute, housed in the Icahn Laboratory, offers a diverse, interdisciplinary intellectual environment with a wide range of research opportunities. The Research Computing team emphasizes collaboration, best practices in software engineering, and flexibility to accommodate the evolving requirements of researchers. The Senior Research Software Development Manager will lead a team of four Research Software Engineers, Bioinformatics specialists, and Database developers, who provide dedicated expertise to researchers to create efficient, scalable, and sustainable research software and services that enable advancements in research. The Senior Research Software Development Manager will have the opportunity to work directly with researchers and faculty to create tailored solutions for a diverse range of projects such as sequence assembly, single cell RNA-Seq, mass spectrometry, and microscopy image analysis. If so, Princeton University's Research Computing department is recruiting a Research Software Engineer to join the fast growing Research Software Engineering (RSE) Group. In the RSE Group, we collectively provide computational research expertise to multiple divisions within the University. As a central team of software experts, we are focused on improving the quality, performance, and sustainability of Princetonās computational research software. Our group is committed to building collaborative environments in which the best software engineering practices are valued, and to sharing and applying cross-disciplinary computational techniques in new and emerging areas. In this position, you will be an integral member of the Princeton Quantum Initiative (PQI), a vibrant community at Princeton University working on quantum science and engineering across many departments. You will drive forward quantum research by partnering with experimental research teams to build low-latency, real-time control stacks for qubit hardware. A central part of the role will be contributing to open-source efforts, such as the Quantum Instrumentation Control Kit (QICK) collaboration led by Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. This work will accelerate the development of features tailored to specific experimental needs and help to set the standard for modular, reusable development of āopen firmwareā.
