The comic shop owner said she had intended to order 7 copies of Alien #4 and mistakenly purchased 70. Knowing it was unlikely she would be able to sell 70 copies, she reached out to a local artist who does printmaking to see if she wanted to do something with them. The artist, who goes by Damsel in the Press, printed each copy with unique cicada prints and the artist and comic shop are splitting the profit on these unique pieces. I am obsessed.

I think that the best way I have found to describe alt-right conservatives, conspiracy theorists, racists, homophobes and terfs is the following:

They are willing participants in a human centipede of misinformation and hate.

I cannot find a more succinct definition, so this working definition will have to suffice.

Okay, so this year has already kicked us in the teeth. Between sickness (Non-Covid, but ER visit required), burst water pipes due to the freezing temperatures, and a tire blow out, we're not doing so hot. However, I won't drop the feeling that this year is going to be a good one. Regardless of how rough it has been, I'm thankful for what I do have. (Especially my partner.) Here's hoping that it calms down some, though.
