@jsnell Typo on the year in this paragraph.
@daringfireball Where's the well-deserved hate for the tvOS Youtube and YoutubeTV apps?
I was stupefied when I got YTTV to watch NFL while traveling in January and had to put up with this triple-click to jump around.
And same with Youtube. On the flipside, that led me to buy @CharlieMonroe's Downie app. Yes - more hassle to get the video, but watching e.g., car repair videos with lots of "wait - what did they do there?", exponentially better playback experience.
@daringfireball Pantheon guest! Excited to get to this episode.
(Under 100minutes, though…? 😢)
@daringfireball Look at the man's pants; he's been rockin' the "padded" underwear for at least a couple years at this point.
I wonder if he asked Mitch McConnell for recommendations.
@jsnell Not just being nice, but I feel like you and Jordan gave him the best opposition thus far, too.
(Just me…or is Jamie not as masterful with the clicker as other past mega-champs? He does, as you say, know EVERY THING, but seems he gets beat to the buzzer relatively often. )
@francosolerio Where's the mechanism to transfer episodes to Apple Watch for playback without iPhone (e.g., while out for a run)? Looked in settings and couldn't find anything.
@jsnell Since I set up the cheapest Home-compatible smart outlet I could find on Amazon (like $12?) to turn on whenever "last person leaves the house” and daisy-chaining that to the Aqara to auto-lock when it sees the switch turn on, it's been flawless about locking automagically when we've both left.
Also, pretty sure I was able to setup fingerprints just using the voice prompts from the lock itself (i.e., without having to install the app).

@jsnell @glennf @dmoren Do you get a briefing of the rules? Like how/why/when specificity is needed vs. when it is not?
Like, why is this an acceptable answer when there was no movie released in 1968 that was titled “2001” (there, of course, was “2001: A Space Odyssey”.

From another clue tonight, would "A River Runs" have been acceptable when the title of the movie was “A River Runs Through It”?
(And yes, I'm asking because my wife is tired of my complaining about this. 😃)

@jsnell I took a chance on that lock after hearing you pick it on MBW - more than double what I’d ever spent on a smart lock before.
Would do so again without giving it a second thought. It’s that good.
@raineer @jsnell That wasn’t the only one that Jason showed some serious depth-of-knowledge.
I feel like I can usually answer maybe 70-80% of the clues, but today's Double round felt like I would've been closer to half.
