I'm generally not an impulsive kind of guy, but I just marched into #microcenter in #tustin (Cali) and bought an #asus ROG Strix G16 laptop with a GTX 4070 and an i9. While I had to leave it to install updates while I went to work, I can honestly say that the thing I like least about it is the backlit keyboard (I gotta figure out out to brighten the shit out of the keys and turn the rando RGB effects off).

I also bought a #glorious model O v2 mouse.

I think the hardest part of the install is going to be figuring out what my Microsoft Account login PW is. I am using a pin on my Lenovo, I'm assuming that won't translate to the new laptop.

I hope to have Steam and #fallout76 installed by tonight, but I work until 9pm :(

Instead of using those insults, I am going to insult the entire Dukes of Hazard voting district instead.

This isn't corruption, this is consequences. Their agreement expired and NJTA chose not to renew it. If only Elon had a team of people working on Superchargers, maybe they could've worked out a new deal.

@molly0xfff I'm good with the Trump-Branded crypto and trading application. The grift will directly target those dumb enough to think it is a good idea, which will increase MAGA dissatisfaction and cause direct pain to those still in the cult.

A point to remember: until someone de-Magats of their own volition, no amount of external coercing or convincing will work. They need to hit rock bottom all on their own, and lose something precious or meaningful before leaving.

#maga isn't alcoholism or drug addiction. Interventions don't work.

@VeroniqueB99 Reps can rip one another, but the real rip is that if there isn't a consistent and constant effort to impeach, remove and charge current fascists and install democratically elected officials with reasonably timed service dates; then we can all consider the lot to be just pencil whipping the time sheet and collecting paychecks for the time being. Represent all your constituents, not just the rich ones.

Texas Legislature is trying to pass a bill requiring a driver in every 18-wheeler truck. Tech bros want fully automated semis barreling down the interstate from Dallas to Houston with NO ONE ONBOARD.

This clause would not just *allow* driverless trucks, but prevent the state from regulating them.
