@drwho You were saying the other day about thinking it was browser junk/caching that was messing with your paperless work -- ran into my own firefox issues today. I wasn't paying attention...at some point firefox seemed to add a feature to use cloudflare's DoH servers...and turned it on by default. I've got a system that I need to do split DNS with, and I can't for the life of me get firefox to use my internal DNS... frustrating as hell. I totally share your browser pain...
Long shot on this one ..Boosts welcome -- Anyone happen to have 3d models of the Aruba Instant On AP ceiling mount? Or just extra ones? I can't seem to find them anywhere and need to replace a couple. Would also accept links to be able to purchase them directly. **Please note, I don't need the "flush mount sleeve" kit, and I'm asking specifically about just the celing mount for the "Instant On" line of APs
@actuallyautistic How many of us #ActuallyAutistic folks have every day, run of the mill noise triggers? By that I mean, say, one that can't stand the sound of grating cheese, or brushing your teeth? Mine is the vacuum... it just cuts right through me, triggers instant anxiety, even when I'm the one doing the vacuuming, and has a really good chance of making me snap at the next person I talk to.. I recognize that it's important, that most people do it, and that it's a fairly common one. Without going into details, sweeping isn't a viable alternative for us. Not really looking for solutions, just curious to learn about people in our little community. What's your trigger, do just deal with it, or did/do you find ways to avoid it?

Basically, trying to date when you're #actuallyautistic. In hindsight, it blows my mind how many times I've completely missed come-ons from hot people. @actuallyautistic
It's no secret I love frame.work laptops.
Taking repairability and hardware ownership to a new level, even for the less technical among us.
Here's a photo of a 12th gen framework laptop. Everything is labeled and replaceable (including the keyboard and screen) ... Most screws are captive so you can't lose them. They even include a screwdriver/spudger combo tool which is the only one you need to repair or replace parts. 🥰
@actuallyautistic [context] I was having a conversation with my partner, who was conveying a conversation she had with her therapist, about how I probably didn't have the emotional language to express some things well
----
My partner tells me about a book that covers (off the top my head, sorry if I'm remembering) 87 essential emotions and experiences.. And I jokingly said 'haha, I can only recognize and name 4 emotions' and then, as we do, I was replaying the conversation in my head a bit later...and then I was like 'holy **** I can actually only name 4 emotions that I can recognize on other people's faces' ... And despite trying to be openly #ActuallyAutistic .. I really felt shocked by how much truth that contained, and honestly ashamed, even though I know I shouldn't feel that way.
@thegibson The balloon is down.
Trying to clean up some of my electronics disaster I have going on while I wait for some firmware to finish flashing.. .. ran across my late fathers old cell phone. *tucks that one away* -- Can't quite bring myself to recycle that yet. No idea why, he wasn't particularly fond of cell phones.. just some kind of random sentimentality, I suppose.
