It's high time I shared
A Toot about bread
A long time ago
I swallowed some flour
I drank from my bowl
And waited an hour
I started to bloat
My waistline increased
'oh crumbs' I exclaimed
'I've made my own yeast!'
The yeast was alive
Stuck deep in my core
Demanding to thrive
The yeast wanted more
I feasted on flour
Mixed in with my feed
To help me digest
I started to knead
'It's over' I thought
'The yeast is content'
But to my surprise
I start to ferment
With gas in my gut
I shiver and shake
I had to keep warm
Which triggered the bake
My story is true
A tale you can trust
My body is wheat
Enveloped in crust
I have no regrets
I'm looking ahead
My cat life is done
For now I am bread
