Mastodon boasts of being defenders of the truth, and then some famous idiot with thousands of followers repeats a fake news story fueled by confirmation bias. I don't like Bezos, nor any billionaire or millionaire, not even those people who have and flaunt small fortunes in a world where millions die of hunger and disease. But if there's anything I dislike even more than powerful, childish, and dangerous rich people, it's the useful idiots who believe anything that confirms their hatred. Then I wonder why social media bores me.
