PSA: Google has now begun to roll-out the Ad Topics "feature" onto Android itself. It's not just in Chrome you have to disable the settings. Please #Boost to spread awareness.
If you didn't get the pop-up screen on your Android device (it looks like the first two screenshots), to opt-out of these settings:
If you don't see "Ad Privacy" in Step 4 then it means that it hasn't been rolled out to you yet. You might need to wait and check back in a couple of days to see if/when it has been implemented to disable these settings.
EDIT: There's another setting to review. In step 2, scroll to "Personalize using shared data". Turn everything off.

"I once read that buying books represents the illusion of buying the time needed to read them. That sounds about right."
Trump has attacked Gen. Mark Milley and even called for his execution, if you can believe it.
Gen. Milley is a patriot who served his country honorably, instead of claiming bone spurs.
He’s also likely a witness in the many trials of Trump, including as the alleged author of the top secret Iranian War Plan that Trump waved around to brag to civilians about how special he is. Trump attacks him at his peril, and likely in violation of court orders not to threaten or intimidate witnesses.
All five women in the South Carolina state senate participated in a dramatic multi-day filibuster to defeat a near-total abortion ban. In a series of powerful rebukes, the bipartisan group of state lawmakers criticized their male colleagues for their oppressive stance against reproductive rights. South Carolina’s case underscores the growing divide within the GOP on the issue of abortion. Republican state Sen. Sandy Senn, who was among the five women to filibuster the bill, tells Ali Velshi that despite her personal views on abortion, she is not going to tell another woman “what she can and cannot do with her life and her body.”
Exxon just reported record profits for the first quarter of this year, raking in $11.43 billion. The oil giant now has $33 billion cash on hand.
Say it with me, corporate greed is driving inflation, not workers demanding better wages and benefits.
The Party of the Gun
Republicans uniformly embrace the gun cult and will only ever double down on the gun-toting militancy they have made a key element of their political identity.
It’s grotesque.
