I’m writing speculative fiction that you might get to read someday.
I’ve written a Harry Potter fan fiction novel that you can read right now: https://summerof98.net.
People pay me to edit stuff. I have a whole degree in it and everything.
I run a thrice-weekly writing group called Everyone Write! on a Discord Server called Caryn's Creative Communities. Here's the address to join: https://discord.gg/qTnwBQqrxr

I've just discovered #PennedPossibilities, but I don't know who writes them, and where and when they're published. Can anyone tell me?

#WritingWonders 7/13: When did you start writing, and what inspired you?

I started writing in elementary school. I think I wrote poetry first, then stories. I started in early elementary, but I don't remember what I wrote about then. By 4th grade my best friend and I were writing novelettes about horses. Some of them were for school; we would illustrate them and bind them, using poster board and contact paper for covers.

Today at our trip to the aquarium, I found a lot of inspiration for my characters who are Aqui. #AmWriting #writingcommunity
#WritingWonders 11 What to improve.
For longer works, it's figuring out what the big bad is, and the reason for it. Usually the stories don't want a simple MacGuffin.
Otherwise it's an iyashekei with disasters and fights stirred in.

What about your writing would you like to improve?

I'd like get to the funny, cozy, or easy-breezy feelings I'm going for faster, rather than after dozens of rewrites and edits. Strangely, I don't have this problem with passages or dialogue that's plainer, or more serious.

#WritingWonders Day 10: MC POV: In a fight, what's your weapon of choice?

Cressa is so unlikely to be in a fight that she would grab whatever is nearest that might help her.

#Writers: Where do the #WritingWonders prompts come from? Is there an organization or school that creates them?

Are they on a website? Are they emailed daily?

(I've seen screenshots of a month's worth of prompts, but they are hard for me to read.)
