@img I know what you mean, but this time I'm pretty happy with the result. When you shoot slide film, you get these nice looking "positives" as well as an added bonus.

Velvia Sunrise
Good morning! Yes, the sunrise over the pollarded willows was spectacularly colourful. It pops even more when captured on Fujichrome Velvia slide film.

The "two-digit" 1960-ies Montblancs are not as sought after (and not as expensive) as other models. This one, I got on-the-cheap. But it was completely clogged and the piston was stuck. Some cleaning and polishing was all it needed to get in great shape again.

Bringing an old pen back to life

I got this attractive jade, no-name, fountain pen at a flee market. It didn't work: it had probably been lying unused for decades, its ink sac was petrified and the lever was stuck. All it needed, though, was some love and a new sac. Sure, there are scratches and discolouration, but still a very nice pen. From material, style and filling mechanism, I'm guessing it’s at least 75 years old

Winters are harsh on planet Pentatonia. On particularly cold days, the compounds of its toxic atmosphere deposit and crystalize. On their way down, the crystals collide and aggregate into larger and larger structures of alien shapes -pentatonian snowflakes.
Put a pixelring at its center and it becomes an Alien Disco Lamp. Beam me down -it's party time!
