For example, this #shortcut obtains the identifier of an action that you copy to the clipboard, which then can be used to detect if its app is installed in the device:

Finally got my ass round to making a shortcut to fix a stupid problem i've had for ages. Southern Rail's wi-fi on train wont show the captive portal. Until now i got around it by getting the url with my laptop and made a web shortcut on my iPhone and iPad to load it so I can connect.
Found out recently that its to do with allowing https traffic and if you use the url http : / /captive.apple.com/hotspot-detect.html it will then redirect to the portal… (1/2)
