This blog post presents preliminary findings from an exploratory study on independent researchers, using OpenAlex data to trace their research interests and career paths. We also discuss our experience working with open and federated data solutions during the study.

The National Library highlights open access during OA Week 2024

While this does not look good for #Openalex, I see this as an upside of having #openresearchinformation. Issues like this can be discovered, discussed + addressed. And the #library / #bibliometrics / #informationscience communities at large has an interest in it: we all benefit from better metadata.
