I spent a few days with the in-laws for Christmas and in my down time did a deep, dark dive into #QElon’s ideology and motivations.
The shortest version I’ve come up with so far is that he’s in a billionaire eugenicist, transhumanist, white supremacist, anarcho-communist, Russian Cosmist science-fiction cult.
Unfortunately I’m dead serious about this.
This also offers a partial explanation for why he is a literal Kremlin propagandist. He and Putin are deeply aligned.

We should not wish U.S. policy towards China to be based on consultations with Western Europeans, but on consultations with U.S. allies and partners that are close to the source of danger, as they have skin in the game.
The same is true for Eastern European security.
If Putin were serious, Russia should enumerate all Ukranian citizens in Russia and provide visits from the ICRC.
ofc this is not something Russia will do.
