Are you using the app or website on your phone? If it's the former, could be an issue with their web server in your region? Apps often use the APIs which could be a different system that serves those API calls.

Ron Chusid @luckytran I don't know if it is Twitter or my phone but Twitter has locked up on my phone several times today and I had to do a Force Stop on it to resume--not something which usually happens. I"m wondering if Twitter is having problems on their end after firing so many techs.
