@astraluma cool! I was just reading about testcontainers and it sounds similar. I haven’t used it though so can’t really compare. https://testcontainers.com/guides/getting-started-with-testcontainers-for-python/

@grahamdumpleton I would use it!

I backed the #BLEcaberQU on kickstarter. https://ble.caberqu.com. Mine just arrived! You plug in power, then take a #USB cable and plug it in (both ends, the box has two remaining ports). The box takes a couple of seconds to measure properties of the cable and then comes back to tell you all about it. Max power; top speed; supported USB standards; appropriate stored info like manufacturer code; more.

Exceeds all expectations!

I invented a game. It’s called 4 x 3.

It’s like connections except that there are three words in each category, there are four categories, and one word is in all four categories.

Easy mode is when you know the special word. Hard is when you don’t.

Here it is: The first clear image of an eclipse of the Sun by the Earth, taken from the surface of the Moon.

This is what last night's lunar eclipse looked like from the Blue Ghost lander's perspective on the Moon. Amazing!

I was laid off on Monday. Going to miss that team fiercely and I wish them all the best!

Anyone looking for a remote infra software eng/ #devops who likes working on platforms? I've most recently worked with #kubernetes, #terraform, #golang, and #puppet , in a #hybrid environment between #onprem and #cloud #infrastructure , spanning 4 continents. I've built out and maintained clusters throughout their lifecycles, architected and built out tooling and automation, and integrated with service-owning teams, all to ship reliable and secure products to market.
