People need to be aware that Texas is about to eliminate the ability of local governments to create local regulations. This puts Houston, Austin, San Antonio etc basically under the control of the state government and unable to enact laws protecting labor, environment, quality of life, etc. Noise ordinances? Nope. Drought measures? Nope. Paid leave? Nope.

Once that passes, we're basically occupied territory.

Abruptly, after 7 months of development, I have reached feature complete on QuantumAuthor. They aren't all fleshed out, and they don't all work 100%, and there are bugs, but if if came in a box, QA would do what was written on it! At this point, every indie dev expert would be yelling at me to get it into *actual writers' hands*.

That's the next step. 🫢

Giving Trump a microphone, a room full of Trumpers, and a national audience, is akin to slapping the bull on his ass as he enters a China shop - BAD THINGS are going to happen, and they did at the CNN Town Hall's attempt to cozy up to the Republican Right.

As a journalist, it was a cringe worthy experience to watch and I felt the need to shower to wash the flying feces that spewed off of the screen.
