I've added a new command line switch to ACBR, --player, that makes it launch in "Media Player Mode". In this mode the media player runs as if it was a stand alone application, without the Reader's main window. You can try it in the latest beta: https://github.com/binarynonsense/comic-book-reader/releases

I hadn't drawn anything in quite a while and wanted to get back into it, so I just made this The Breakfast Club fan art illustration.

High Entropy: Challenges on Steam

Use computers (via GUIs or the command line), unlock doors, crawl through vents, fight enemies head on or find other ways to neutralize or avoid them...

Just after posting the video I noticed there was a bug in dir: it wasn't showing the correct folder name in the results summary when using the new feature to provide a path. It's now fixed :)
Added a couple quality of life improvements to the command line interface of the computers for the next update: tab auto-completion and the possibility of providing a path to 'dir' as a parameter. #gamedev #indiedev

Finished adding rats to some of the levels. I tried to make their AI as simple as possible (they are just background flavor) but I'm happy with the end result and how they move around.

I've been tweaking all the levels to improve their design and how they look and fit together (and redoing levels 1 and 15 from scratch), adding more paths to some of them so most can be completed in different ways, enhancing some of the models and the inventory, HUD and other UIs design...

After having to put it aside for a long time, due to personal circumstances, lately I've started to get back into gamedev working on a new update for 'High Entropy: Challenges'. Although it's going slowly and don't know how long it'll take to finish, I'm really happy with how it's shaping up, so here are the first work in progress screenshots of what will hopefully one day become update 1.3
