Nailed it today! My buddy needed a USB router cable for serial access and bam! I found one in my trusty box of ancient cords. I gave him that cable in his need of the hour from a box of random cables I’ve had for 25 glorious years. This is why I horde 😅

You can `readonly TMOUT=300; export TMOUT` to have bash (for CSH/TCSH try `set -r autologout= 5`) to you off automatically if you leave the shell idle for more than 5 minutes.
