This is the graph where you should one day be able to see a decrease in how quickly the CO₂ concentration is rising. Even if our own CO₂ emissions would decrease however, it might not happen, because it appears the Earth's ability to absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere is declining, which is extremely worrying.

Philip BallI hope US folks on the No Kings rallies know how much people outside the US are heartened to see them. We always knew the US is full of very fine people who totally reject and revile what's happening, but my god it's good to see it.

Nothing on this page is factually controversial. However, many things in this post make for uncomfortable reading. And, climate discourse is now so politicized that many factual statements are taken as dog whistles. For example, in what follows I will state that climate has always been changing, and has in fact never been stable for very long. This is 100% true, but people interpret this as if the writer means that our current climate change is not caused by human beings, or is nothing to worry about.

And as multiple people pointed out, even in megacorporations some good work is getting done because there are people who deeply care, enough so that they fight the idiocy to make useful things still happen.
Serge Droz@bert_hubert I think there are a lot of people who care about good work and will do good work for the sake of it, often behind the backs of the idiots. They won't, of course, get any praise or credit for it because these managers, not having a clue, think it's because of their genius.
I've seen this over and over again.
