Been having a lot of fun setting up a server running proxmox, truenas and jellyfin as well as support VMs. Ripping all of my DVDs, CDs and figuring out live TV has definitely been something new to explore and it’s been a long time since I’ve gotten to explore tech without a looming deadline.

@LeoBurr I have a long history of intel NICs being very picky about what SFPs they will except. One of the reasons I always spec Broadcom on server orders- getting intel to play nice became a crapshoot with our network team.

@artfulreggie @CigarStallion overalls are so comfy though. I look for any excuse to wear mine especially during the winter when the weather is more tolerable. Folks at work know I’ll be working in the data center when I wear them to work.

Started playing Among Us with my kids today. It was such a blast and they were so excited, even if I could tell they were the impostor by all the guilty giggling
@brophey the transition to Broadcom has been such a shitshow, especially if you also have Horizon and have to deal with Onnissa too. It’s going to end up killing both products I feel as they drive customers away.
