Pat Gelsinger, the CEO of Intel, before that was the CEO of my company VMware. VMware got sold and stripped for parts to Broadcom after Gelsinger left for Intel because they had lost so many customers. And then in 2021 he became CEO of Intel.

How's that going?

I became a manager at the end of my tenure at VMware but quit that job after being forced to lay people off.

I went to Apple to become an IC again.

Weird how there are crazy layoffs again at a company headed by that guy.

@brophey the transition to Broadcom has been such a shitshow, especially if you also have Horizon and have to deal with Onnissa too. It’s going to end up killing both products I feel as they drive customers away.
