I'm just a dude with a lawnmower
How long before our AI overlords rise up?
Kelley Blue Book states, and I quote, "The fuel filter is always located between the fuel tank and the engine."
Um.... I'd have never guessed that a fuel filter would be somehow involved in the fuel system between the fuel tank and the engine. Who'da guessed? Thank Njord for KBB and their top notch mechanic advice. What would I ever do without this knowledge? 🤣
So, I do most of my own car maintenance, partly because I'm poor and cannot afford a mechanic, but mostly because I'm poor and cannot afford a mechanic. Recently, my car has had an egg smell on the highway, or during rapid acceleration. Best I can tell, this is fuel related, and a quick, easy thing to try is to replace the fuel filter, and run injector cleaner. Well, there isn't a lot of info online as to exactly where the filter is on a 2011 Volvo S40, but one website had the perfect answer...
(2/) stuff. I've been smoking cigarettes since I was 8 years old. I'm now 47. (I mentioned the other day I'm 46, but I forgot I turned 47. My partner reminded me.)
So, my question is, how does one replace a stim? Or break a stim?
I realize that it being a stim (and a strong one) for me, it makes it that much more difficult to stop smoking. Not only am I addicted to the nicotine and whatever else, I'm also addicted to the stimulation it provides.
I'd really like any advice anyone can provide me.

So, I've recently learned that I'm autistic. Part of this means I'm not hyperfixated on consuming autism related content. In part to learn everything there is to know about it (yeah right!) and in part to learn more about myself and all my weird quirks.
So, I've recently realized (tonight) that my smoking is very likely to be a form of stimming for me. It's sensory seeking that specific feeling. The smoke, the burn in the throat, and all that >>

How do some people seem to be able to make such long posts? I see posts all day with FAR more than the character limit. How does this work?
(2/) keep it in, because the level of my aggression would be off the charts. I don't need to go to jail for hurting someone, or destroying property.
Is this something other autistic people struggle with? If so, I could definitely use some tips for abating the anger, and halting, or slowing the snowball.
#AskingAutistics #ActuallyAutistic (1/) Is irrational anger and extreme irritability something associated with ASD, or am I just an irrationally angry and irritable person? I don't have outbursts, but I have times when I get super angry at about everything, and everything, even my partner wanting a kiss (I'm not adverse to touch. Normally, it doesn't bother me at all...or at least not much.) just makes my scalp crawl and my blood boil.
I have always had a tendency to just bottle it all up and >>

So, my current hyperfixation is learning about #Autism. I've recently learned that I'm on the spectrum, and I'm gobbling up as much (good) information I can.

I've been really enjoying "Orion Kelly - That autistic guy," on YouTube. I find him very entertaining, relatable, and informative, but I'd like to know some more channels to check out?
