Is it me or are things increasingly buggy recently? Stalling, connection failures and unresponsive on various devices in the #Apple universe - phone, TV, laptop… #microsoft pushing updates to office tools every other day, same with #Chrome browser updates. Not seeing the same level of disruption on my #linux devices and associated tools though it could be that I’m generally more explicit and tolerant of changes there. 🤨

Free tip for anyone thinking of booking travel with #trainline and #scotrail and wanting to take a #bicycle. DON'T!

One or other, and I suspect Trainline, tell you have have a reservation then fail to honour it. Trains and bikes should be a marriage made in heaven. In the UK it's a farce. With Trainline it's a con.

Economist “Fresh questions about the Secret Service’s competence”. Perhaps they’ve just not had to deal with these issues so much in the past. Makes you rusty… I wonder why that’s changed?

The sad thing is that only the lib dems seem to say anything about local issues. The others ramble on about whatever psycho drama they’re obsessed with.

Greens haven’t got over the high of winning something. Labour want to distract everyone from Mandelson with the wars. Reform follow the Trump playbook, don’t mention their insane far right plans and distract by blaming immigrants. And god only knows what the tories are up to, I mean wtf!? They make the monster raving looney party look sensible.

I've done it for you. I watched all the main parties politcal broadcasts. Here's the summary so you don't have to:

Lib dems - We'll fix local issues...
Labour - It's not our war...
Cons - Let's burn the planet...
Reform - Starmer out...
Green - We're normal people...

*Both Human Rights Watch and the cross-party law reform organization Justice say recent legislative changes have created a chilling effect on lawful protest and should be repealed. Their reports, simultaneously published on Thursday, also say that proposals for more curbs should be halted.*

Your party is the reason we’re in this mess. Your dogmatism and unwillingness to compromise provides passive support to the far right. We live in a two party system and you’re splitting the vote on the left and opening the door to a more organised right wing. Wake up! You’re unelectable!

Voters’ voices are being shut out of British politics. Your Party has a radical plan to change that

At our conference in November we will use a jury service-type model to allow members to discuss and decide policy, strategy and even the name of our party, says Your Party co-founder Jeremy Corbyn

We need to stop talking about “documentation” and instead talk about “communication”. Documents are just a means of communicating. At a fundamental level the problem isn’t missing documentation, it’s a lack of communication. Documents just happen to be a good accessible form of communication that works across time and space… #programming #softwaredevelopment #architecture

Trump isn’t going to end the war in Ukraine. He’s going to make it easier for Russia to keep what it stole and greenlight Putin to go after other countries.
