@StinkyTofu @mobian also, this lets you start another session (gnome, plamo, sway...) instead of phosh
@StinkyTofu @mobian because then phosh skips the lockscreen on startup, and the keyring is automatically unlocked without the need to ask for your password a 2nd time ;)

Ca y est, le programme du #cdl2022 est en ligne: https://cfp.capitoledulibre.org/cdl-2022/schedule/

As part of our move from gitlab to @debian infrastructure, we have just migrated our issue tracker over from https://gitlab.com/mobian1/issues to https://salsa.debian.org/groups/Mobian-team/-/issues.

And remember, whenever possible file issues and work directly with upstream projects when they are upstream problems.

As this came up multiple times: phosh 0.20.0 currently requires GTK animations to be on:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface enable-animations true

So if you (or your distro) turned it off please enable it before updating as otherwise you won't be able to use the overview.

I know animations are on by default in #pureos and #debian so nothing to do there.

@agx Oh and FYI, the Surface Go 2 is the device I usually take with me when travelling, #phosh is a perfect match for it!

@agx Ah, I have a few more data points for you then ;)

* PineTab, 10.1" landscape, 1280x800
* Surface Pro 3, 12" landscape, 2140x1440
* Surface Go 2, 10.5" landscape, 1920x1080
* OnePlus 6, 6.28" portrait 1080x2280
* Pocophone F1, 6.18" portrait, 1080x2246

@martijnbraam of course, that's just an idea I had and wanted to share, I won't mind much if you go for a custom system ;)

@martijnbraam Definitely, but I can see an advantage to having device config files for lava: being able to re-use them on different instances.

For example, I could probably convince Collabora to add a PP(P) or 2 to our existing lava lab.
