@katrintheresa Star Wars fanatics are the best! 🙌🏻
I really hope there's a Star Wars fanatic out there who's keeping detailed track of all the helmets seen in every new show's intro! #starwars #wookieepedia #ahsoka

These absurd "abortion trafficking" laws are not meant to be 100% enforceable. They are meant to create fear and confusion around aiding abortion-seekers, leaving them isolated and alone.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/09/01/texas-abortion-highways/

Highways are the next antiabortion target. One Texas town is resisting.

A new ordinance, passed in several jurisdictions and under consideration elsewhere, aims to stop people from using local roads to drive someone out of state for an abortion

Americans’ Views of Space: U.S. Role, NASA Priorities and Impact of Private Companies

A majority of Americans (69%) say it’s essential for the U.S. to continue to be a world leader in space. As private companies become a bigger part of the industry, the public gives them more positive than negative ratings for their contributions to space exploration and spacecraft development. Still, Americans continue to say NASA has a critical role to play going forward.

This is lazy, @arstechnica. Literally every issue had >55% saying it was either a top priority or "important but lower priority." Saying the public doesn't support most of these because they didn't name *all* of them as their top priority is very misleading.

Not too mention that 69%(!) think it's "essential" for the US to be a leader in space exploration.

There's a good discussion to be had about these issues, but this ain't it

Once again, the US public says NASA should prioritize asteroid defense

Just 7 percent of US women want NASA to prioritize humans to Mars.

As someone who loves watching the #WorldCup but follows basically zero #soccer outside of it, this first episode of The Re—Cap Show was a fantastic intro to the tournament https://youtu.be/m9qGpfsW-OA

I loved hearing the players' perspectives and seeing their personalities, and the in-depth discussion with the previous USA Women's team head coach was fascinating. I knew soccer is complicated, but I had little idea how!

Looking forward to more from Tobin Heath and Christen Press and #recapshow! #usa
