We have now reached a point where the Russian ruble collapses, while Russia loses 2000 soldiers per day, while rebels in Syria take over Aleppo, because Putin has had to call home his forces, while corpses of Wagner forces are rotting in Mali, while Kursk is still occupied by Ukraine, while Russian factories and oil depots are being bombed with ATACMS in Putin's three day military operation which has lasted over 1000 days.

But other than that, things are great in Moscow.

Sending solar power from Morocco may well be technically feasible, but I would like to see more analysis of what Morocco gets out of this. Only 20% of their electricity is currently renewable - surely local decarbonisation should be the priority. Is this energy colonialism?

Canada is the USA's largest trading partner. When Trump tried tariffs on our goods as a negotiation tactic during the NAFTA negotiations, Canada responded by putting tariffs on American goods. It hurt the USA more than us.

USA's inflation will go up quickly with Trump's dumb 10% tariff idea. Trading partners around the world will put tariffs on American goods in retaliation as well. It will cause the USA to spiral into a recession.

It's a massively stupid idea. China won't play nice like us.
