A (further) reason why #Brexit was such a crap deal for British consumers (the "Global Britain" garbage peddled by the Johnson/Gove/Mogg/Farage consortium - who couldn't change a plug between them), is the absurd postage rates quoted for any goods advertised online from the US. Even if they were delivered by liberty ship & had to wait for a convoy, the rates are still prohibitive. Especially contrasted with rates from China, whose merchants plainly actually want to do trade here.
