It looks like "My 9 Games" is going around - pick 9 games that heavily influenced you as an individual.
So, here are mine in no particular order.
The Oregon Trail - This and Gorillas were some of the first video games I ever played. They showed me what video games were and have stuck with me to this day.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - A Sonic game needed to show up on this list. In 1992, I bought a Sega Genesis and this game was the game for a long, long while. So many memories.
Pokémon Gold - I played Blue via an emulator years prior, but Gold is what got me really into the franchise. Not when it first came out, as an adult. Many years later. When I replaced the battery in my siblings' old copy of Gold and played it while traveling for work. This got me really into the Pokémon franchise.
Super Mario Bros - My first console game. I have beaten this so many times. It never gets old, to me.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - No game has become my personality more than this. To this day, this is by far the game I have logged the most hours into. I have largely played it daily since 2020.
