Mimics a bear's behaviour by being quiet, respectful, and I tend to wander on my own.

Playing games since I was a wee cub. They bring me joy and I share games to bring others joy. Specifically I'm into retro games, cozy games and table-top RPGs.

Pronouns are he/him.

I feel the specter of advanced age when I say that I am enjoying watching political coverage on CPAC.

My latest creative fidget creation:

‘Lil rainbow coloured elemental ‘starter’ Baby Chonk Dino’s - 🌈 🦖 inspired by Pokémon!

These articulating fidget toys are super cute and come with your choice of (1) Chonk + (1) play set and snack: Available in Terracotta, Plant or Woodland.

Decided to pick up a book and start reading again. I'm trying A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L. Jensen as it has a couple things I'm looking for: Canadian-written and romantasy.

@stephanie I really respect the way you are able to express your political experience online.

It looks like "My 9 Games" is going around - pick 9 games that heavily influenced you as an individual.

So, here are mine in no particular order.

The Oregon Trail - This and Gorillas were some of the first video games I ever played. They showed me what video games were and have stuck with me to this day.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - A Sonic game needed to show up on this list. In 1992, I bought a Sega Genesis and this game was the game for a long, long while. So many memories.

Pokémon Gold - I played Blue via an emulator years prior, but Gold is what got me really into the franchise. Not when it first came out, as an adult. Many years later. When I replaced the battery in my siblings' old copy of Gold and played it while traveling for work. This got me really into the Pokémon franchise.

Super Mario Bros - My first console game. I have beaten this so many times. It never gets old, to me.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - No game has become my personality more than this. To this day, this is by far the game I have logged the most hours into. I have largely played it daily since 2020.

I wanted to do this, too!
9 games that heavily influenced you.

A thread, so 1/?

1. Banjo-Kazooie - The first game that got me into adventure games properly. Plus it’s funny, with jokes for kids and jokes for adults. I still love this game, and its sequel Banjo-Tooie which I got to play decades later.

2. Sonic the Hedgehog - The first side scrolling video game I ever played in the early 90s. My cousin had a Sega Megadrive and we played this a lot together. No saving options, so we usually only managed the first three worlds.

3. Mickey Mouse Starring in Castle of Illusion - Another one we played with my cousin. We usually finished it, but not 100%. I got the remake that came years later and oh the nostalgia ❤️

4. The Sims 2 - My sister got the first game and I didn’t get it. It looked really boring. Then 2 came and she got that, too but this time I got hooked and basically hogged the entire game. I got loads of mods, loved the stories the families in the base game have and got really into the legacy challenge. In fact, I started a sims story blog, which went on for years.

I’ve been working on a new project that’ll expand my shop into a new area: little boxes of mini ‘play sets.’

The first set is a bunch of little containers with accessories for…

Adorable ‘lil baby beetles! I’m obsessed. 🤩

I’m working on a few different box colours and themes… like forests, clouds, etc etc. #BrittBuilds3D

Sneak peak:

FYI per 404Media: Amazon is telling people who use its wishlists feature to switch to post office boxes or non-residential delivery addresses if they want to ensure their home addresses remain private, as part of a change in how it processes gifts bought from third-party sellers.
