Wow! A display list-based graphics system. The NES would flicker like a Christmas tree under that stress. I don't think that the SMS or the PCE could handle it either. As they say, if you want to see the true power of a classic system, just look at the homebrew.

My favorite Xbox game is Halo Wars 2. And you know what? I love playing it on my mini PC. I've been playing Starcraft since '98, so a keyboard & mouse comes 2nd nature to me in an RTS!
I'm just doing the skirmish mode right now to test my settings and so far, it's working great. But that must be because it's a Xbox now! LOL! 😎

I'm taking Doom: The Dark Ages for a spin in the cloud. I'm using a tiny Lenovo mini PC with Iris graphics and I usually don't use it for high-end gaming. But Xbox's cloud service is running a game *perfectly* that would normally require "ray-tracing" capable hardware. As much as I love physical media, this is pretty sweet.
