Some joints have arrived today, which means I can attempt to start making a prototype for a project. The prototype is hand-sculpted, but the final one will eventually be digital and printed. Just a lot less time consuming!

2DForeverBeen meaning to post this for a while, but @danthat asked me to create a classic PC box-style illustration for Lair of the Clockwork God. It was funny mixing a kind of realistic look with the strange proportions. It was used for the ace LimitedRunGames physical edition!

It's Shigeru Mizuki's rendition of "Kabo Mandalat", a demoness from the Isle of Pines in New Caledonia who is a giant crab. I can only trace its source to a 19th century French missionary.
