A non-binary person with some weird interests. Still trying to figure out the environment on the fediverse and what is appropriate to be interested in, so this will be updated every so often.

I'm Sage, I'm non-binary and I like 3D printing!!

#3dprinting hello there, my extruder on my ender 3 v2 keeps making skipping-like noises, like what it sounds like when you try and push out abs at like 200c or something. im using pla and have it up to 235c and its still doing it. should i replace my extruder (i've also replaced the gear a few times)

#3dprinting anyone know what to call this when buying a new one for an ender 3 v2? also why does it take 2 people to get the tube out of it (which resulted in both ones i had completely just not holding the tube)? im pretty sure theres an easier way that doesnt break the part. what is that way

#3dprinting my ender 3 v2 is making weird noises at the start. sounds like its coming from the extruder? not causing any problems yet. anyone know whats going on?

edit: should probably specify, its like rly loud clicking noises

#3dprinting The filament keeps breaking off while in the extruder. I asked Reddit first and they said it was dry, so I kept the dehydrator on while printing. However, the filament stops coming out like 5 layers after I turn the dehydrator off. Does the filament really get wet that quickly? Is there any other way I could try to fix this?
