@returntosender Yea cuz the starting of the ending or just starting to drive will not get rid of them 🤣

@arnan @returntosender sometimes they take shelter in the engine compartment.

On some vehicles, starting the engine would then basically shred the cat and leave the viscera strewn around the inside.

This once happened to an uncle of mine, with his favourite cat.

@returntosender This is unfortunately a real thing. We lost a pet cat growing up who fell asleep in my dad's truck's engine compartment and got caught by the belts and radiator fan when he started it.
@vwbusguy
Yes, the reality is not pretty.
@vwbusguy
I removed #Humor from the post, thanks
@returntosender
This is a real issue.
There ended up being a "no tail" cat at my apartment complex in college.
@returntosender I've had two cats with a non-functional front leg that we think happened because they got stuck in a car of some kind
@returntosender Honking the horn (with the remote, or when you’re seated but before you start the car) is also highly recommended.
@returntosender Sound advice. As a kid my neighbour’s cat would climb right inside the still warm engine compartment of my da’s Ford Transit van.

@returntosender Haha, funny joke, I laughed
