@twostraws fair enough. Usually I really want to have sync, and the easiest way to do that for semi-complex data seems to be SwiftData. I assume that’s not a requirement (or want) for you?
@twostraws Why that instead of SwiftData / CoreData?
@ryanashcraft not trying to be obnoxious. It just seems to me that the vast majority of devs who have been working on even a moderately complex SwiftUI have run into ridiculous error messages, concurrency errors that are inscrutable, and many minute build times. I honestly miss Objective-C’s simplicity and speed. Swift is great in some ways. All the areas you’ve outlined resonate with me and others I talk to.
@ryanashcraft hot take: that’s not a hot take
@marcoarment it makes me furious every time. How are we not past that in year 6(?) of SwiftUI?
@BenRiceM absolutely. A Liquid Metal design could be compelling. The warped transparency is the main part that doesn’t work.
@louie not from Europe, but Euchre. It’s an odd little trick-taker popular in the upper Midwest of the US kind of like Spades.
@viticci pretty much looks like Material.ultraThin that’s been around for a long while

Rainy Skies v2.1 is ready! Update for location information, last 30 days weather history, customization options, and more!

@codinghorror what is innovative about it? The trailer looked like fairly standard FPS fare with really nice graphics. What does it do that’s new?
