There are nearly two dozen additional features and bug fixes in version 2.0, and I'm so happy to share it with you all.

If you're a free user or have never tried before, sign up for Rainy Skies Silver now for $5, because it's going to $5.99 on May 1, and current subscribers will *stay at the current price*!

🚀 RAINY SKIES 2.0 IS HERE!!! 🚀

This has been a mountain of work for 7-8 months. Frankly, part of the reason it took so long was that I got burned out over the holidays, so there was a 2-month break in there. Still, it's done, and it's out.

The two main new features are two of the most frequently requested and my personal two biggest wishes: radar and Apple Watch support. Radar is provided by the excellent service RainViewer.

8...99. Tons of other little things. Virtually no part of the app went untouched. This was a huge update that took a few months but was a lot of fun! I hope you enjoy!
7. I got some feedback that my paywall was...boring. So I started from scratch to hopefully make it a bit nicer and more fun.
6. I've added a tip jar to the app, which you can get to from the "What's New" screen.
5. If you have or have had a subscription on one of your devices that has / had an expiration date in the future, we'll ask you on a fresh install if you want to try to restore that subscription.
4. A new "what's new" screen. When the app updates with new features, you'll see a badge on the Settings button, and then on the "What's New" screen. If there's a new icon, you'll see a badge there too.

2. Your saved locations are now synced between devices.

3. You can now set each widget to a different saved location, if you want.

Thread:

Rainy Skies v1.1.0 is coming, here's what's new:

1. The headline feature is improved iPad support using a split view instead of a blown-up iPhone view.
