@plinth No idea!
(But I'm going to weed out single owner/moderator servers now.)
@JulieNye We need a "group panic" icon . . . 💣

@JulieNye I'm a (very quiet) fan of every landscape photo you've posted.

Ralf announced yesterday he's shutting it down on June 16.

So I'm trying to figure out who I've been regularly reading via Local that I need to follow. If I do migrate, I'd like to take as many as I can.

@blackcatranch It's mainly for the cats -- I don't like to see them unhappy. (When it was just me, a down duvet replaced my whole pile of blankets.)
@JulieNye Hi! I transplanted myself here from Indiana a while back, but I'm still working on it. Also sorry, I'm so used to reading your posts on the Local feed, I didn't realize I'd never tapped the follow button.

@giandujakiss I was a bit shocked when your previous server closed down; it seemed like a really popular, well-run place. I thought, If it could happen there, are any of these actually safe?

I guess this is the answer to that question. I apologize for recommending this one. I do like it here, and until recently I believed it was stable. So, so sorry you're going through this again.

@plinth 👍
(I've been waiting to see this all assembled...)

Gave up and turned the furnace back on for a bit. I'd like to get the temperature in here back up in the 60s.

No one else in my neighborhood has caved yet, but I'm going to drag out the big extension cord and plug in my mower this weekend. NWS says it might be ~70F and sunny on Saturday, so I'm gonna go for it.

Along with the 2 cats, my sister donated a used cat-tree she'd picked up via Facebook. I got rid of all my plants and shoved it in the front window.

I screwed on a 3'x4" scrap of lumber to keep it from wobbling. Last summer I wrapped that in jute.

It held up until the end of winter. My second attempt has involved sisal rope, a wood glue/hot glue combo, clamps, and many, many hours. We'll see how long it lasts.

@thematthewshow Complete with muppet hecklers! That's fantastic.
