Gave up and turned the furnace back on for a bit. I'd like to get the temperature in here back up in the 60s.

No one else in my neighborhood has caved yet, but I'm going to drag out the big extension cord and plug in my mower this weekend. NWS says it might be ~70F and sunny on Saturday, so I'm gonna go for it.

@blackcatranch It's mainly for the cats -- I don't like to see them unhappy. (When it was just me, a down duvet replaced my whole pile of blankets.)

@anotherwest oh, yeah, I have the heating pad and heated throws for the cats too. That way I can have the bed warmed up and the cats congregate there. When I’m watching TV and it’s a little chilly, I will turn on the heated throw and the cat want to be on top of me with the heated throw. It’s a great cat attractor.
