Cory Doctorow's book #Enshittification. It has been a good read so far. The mini case studies add more background to what I already knew about the toxic sludge of large tech companies. I'm excited to find out what Doctorow prescribes as a potential fix for this disease.
No spoilers pls, but if you read it already, what did you think?
@djumaka To be honest that sounds like it's more on them than you. I could understand if they pushed the time but moving an event up always comes with problems. What about kids or parents that had other plans already?
I had some instructors in college that would do this but they would always preface it with a message saying "sorry, this new time is the only time that works today. If it messes with your schedule please contact me and we'll work out a new time".
Having a very loud brain day today.
It started last night actually. I usually have no problem sleeping. My head hits the pillow and I'm out.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, imagine you have a live music festival happening in your head while you try to get work done.
On a relaxed day I enjoy the music playing and it floods me with great ideas I may have never considered. On a bad day, it's like listening to the worst music you've ever heard while trying to fold laundry. #adhd
