The iconic American-style truck emerging from the wall above the entrance to the legendary Garage night club on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. One of Scotland's largest clubs, the Garage opened in 1994. However, the building it's in is much older, with part of it (G2) being housed in a Georgian mansion which was built in 1812. While the truck is currently bright yellow, it has been painted many different colours over the years.

Love this trompe-l'ล“il style mural on the ground floor of an exposed tenement gable in the Linthouse area of Glasgow. The adjoining tenement, which would have completed a residental block enclosing an internal back court, was demolished to make way for the southern entrance to the Clyde Tunnel, which opened in 1963.

King of the Castle on Dougrie Place in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow. Created by Kenny Hunter, in collaboration with members of the Castlemilk Writers' Group, in 1999, it features a young boy wearing a cape and looking off into the diatance from the top of a large dome. Known locally as The Boy Wonder, it was originally sited on a roundabout on Fernhill Road, but it now stands on a hill amongst some of the areas 1960s tower blocks, looking out across the city.

Brutal elegance.

Without question, the most magnificent piece of engineering to span any stretch of water anywhere in the world. The Bridge, opened 135 years ago today, 4th March 1890.

55,000 tonnes of steel, 110,000 m3 of masonry, 2.4km long, 110m high, piers sunk 27m deep, carrying around 200 trains daily.

2/ The Times needs to say this is false IN the damn headline.
This is a NYT headline. The body of the piece does talk about how Trumpโ€™s post was โ€œlittered with falsehoods.โ€ But the headline just repeats false and dangerous Russian talking points.
People often donโ€™t read past the headlines. This is how misinformation spreads, and legacy media is complicit. The NYT owner and editorial heads, through the headline writers, are playing a winking game with Trump to stay in his good graces, even while very good reporters still try to get the truth out.
It was never about โ€œfree speech.โ€
