What’s become apparent to me it’s not enough to advocate for Mastodon and call it a day.

Decentralization is going to be a fight within the Fediverse too.

Not everyone on Mastodon wants decentralization. Instead, they want Mastodon to “win”—and “winning” means crushing everything else.

https://csarven.ca/okieli-dokieli is about dokieli with loads of info for someone coming at this new or interested in history.

dokieli is a socially-aware clientside editor for decentralised article publishing, annotations and social interactions with an ocean of open web standards at its disposal.

I made the first commit to dokieli 10 years ago. I built what I needed, and use it (still). This is the story of procrastination of epic proportions, making connections, and having fun.

Sunday 30 April was the 30th anniversary of the release of the Web into the public domain, for general use, and at no cost. Coralie Mercier noted that this quiet gesture, was advocated by Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and has changed our lives.

The archives of the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg ("Nuremberg Trials") are now online.

Stanford University Library has made the Taube Archive of the International Military Tribunal (IMT) at Nuremberg, 1945-46 available in full, for free, online.

The collection includes complete audio recordings, multilingual transcripts, evidence submitted by the prosecution and the defence, photographs, and ca. 250,000 of digitised documents.
