Eight hours of sleep on the rare occasion, 8 hours working as an unprofessional front-end developer, then on my other 8 hours, I poke my blog, take photos of my cat & try my best. Keen on #IndieWeb, #CSS, #sustainability, #plants, #crafts, #privacy, #DIY, #dreams & more.

Psst, the slides of my Middlesbrough Front End talk are up on my blog!

> This talk explores the wild side of View Transitions. We’ll combine them with Scroll-Driven Animations, trigger them automatically with MutationObserver, and even resurrect classic Internet Explorer’s Page Transitions.

Anyone in the #UK have experience of setting up a #RepairCafe ? There isn't one in my local town and I'm investigating setting one up. Especially with the #endof10 looming for #windows10 , I figure my experience with #linux and fixing stuff could be useful to others.
Turns out I have the most unread emails of everyone at #pixelpioneers… by 2 orders of magnitude 😬😳
An absolute joy to watch @anarodrigues talk. Lots of take aways! And fab to have lunch with a real life indie web pal
Thank you so much #PixelPioneers for listening to me! I will share my talk on my blog soon 🤗

@stux That is incorrect because my cat will sleep in either
@stux
Bookmarked for #Caturday 🐈
@stux second box is obviously to big and entrance is much to comfortable
@stux There should be a business opportunity here - cat carriers that are cardboard boxes, so the cat will climb in of their own accord, and you can then close them up.

@SteveClough @stux

This is what I came into say. They might even have the air holes viewing windows on the side built in, because they like to poke paws out of them. But I would make it where lifting side flaps to close the box (into a tented carrying handle shape) would expose the air and viewing openings.

But we could just lay a paper bag on the floor before carrying them to the vet in a grocery bag.

@SteveClough @stux those have existed for many decades, but my cats didn't like them because they knew it was associated with a car ride and a vet visit
@stux just make the cage out of cardboard. problem solved
@stux my cats consistently go "ooh a box what fun!" to the cat carrier and don't realize their mistake until several second after I've locked the door

@stux quite clear to me...

Cats do not like Windows !
