In the history of superheroes and their precursors, when did the secret identity, the alter ego, become a big deal, a propulsion for narrative?
The Scarlet Pimpernel is the earliest example I can think of off the top of my head, but it might exist much earlier in mythology and folklore.

If you discovered a new favorite band from a John Hughes movie, I can’t blame you for that.
Although we were glad to see such bands break through to a good pay day, existing fans felt strongly it would lead to said bands demise, which it did.

When they first started selling Kool-Aid packaged with the sugar already added, the change in weight and packaging size was eye opening

I guess this explains why – *checks notes* – Liquid Glass windows have comically massive rounded corners on iPad and Mac that – *checks notes again* – end up chopping off chunks of your content. Erm.
