@mattiem @nicklockwood @helge @obrhoff at this point those of us with the technical and financial wherewithal should look at smaller alternatives like fair phone or jolla phone, try to avoid Qualcomm based phones and choose mediatek instead. There are small sacrifices in usability and ecosystem but at this point, where the US appears headed, and Apple right along with them, why give any money to them?

I mean yeah, if you can find a way to pay for a Pixel without paying an American company that does seem like a good path forward.

@dlakelan @nemo @Samaelius I personally, would rather slightly compromise security with e/OS and fair phone rather than giving google more money. Or install Graphene on a device you already have if you can. Right now my personal goal is to give no money to US big tech unless there is really no other source.

Comparing the toolbars between Pages 15 (15.1?) and Pages 14:

Why is this a unified toolbar? You can barely see any of the title. Sure, you can expand the window but sometimes you just don’t have the space. The fat toolbar items are just so space inefficient.

Oh and it gets worse if you show the labels (as the default used to be).

Apps just tend to get more and more user hostile and I'm really trying to understand why?
