It's a personal account of a random introverted shy boring person.
I like Tech, Linux & FOSS things, Consume Manga & Anime. Waste time on Video games, and Code.

So rumor has it that the new Data centers for the AI overlords have demand for so much power that if a particular country couldn't meet it, the other countries would win the race and the USA would lose the lead.

So a need for more supply of electricity arises.

Nuclear Plants are the most viable solution but they require so much money and time that by the time it's all built, the race would be over.

So the AI overlords said they would have to shift to different nations that can meet their demand.

So the particular country thought of a quick solution that their predecessors did, invade someone else and steal their oil reserves and make up a justification afterwards.

And it always works. Other countries can't do anything because their leaders all have a piece of the pie indirectly and are afraid to point fingers.

@fedora How do I setup Nvidia RTX 4060 Hybrid GPU with AMD iGPU to Work with Lenovo Legion such that the Fine grained Power management works fine and actually turns off/ suspend dGPU when not used?

I followed the guide and setup secureboot and enrolled keys. Installed akmod-nvidia. dGPU works. But it never sleeps. Every 30 seconds It suspends and resumes immediately and it goes on.

Little bonus @waveformpodcast today about ActivityPub and the Fediverse! If you're trying to understand what the heck the Fediverse is, we get... possibly a little too deep into it. But it's a fun one. Featuring some big names such as @evanprodromou , @mosseri , @mmccue and more. 🎉

This is wild. I'm completely unaffected by this as I don't own shares in Intel or have any affected processors, but this drama is fascinating.

Turning sand into thinking machines seems fraught with potential failure as a business.

So #Putin offers us “peace” if we surrender four regions completely, including Kherson and Zaporizhe.

This is insane, since he wants #Ukraine to submit even two large cities #Russia doesn’t control.

We also have to promise not to join #NATO

This is not a peace offer, this is basically a demand for unconditional surrender. But my point is different.

Watch everybody in the coming days who say Russia wants peace. They are either idiots or russian assets.

Pls boost.

Mozilla should call for a vote on the removal of Google from the W3C over the implementation of Web Environment Integrity. "But Chrome has 65% market share, what good is the W3C without them?” If Google can take unilateral action to fundamentally change the basic principles of the web, then the W3C is *already* useless. This will give Google a clear choice: if they want to maintain the idea that the W3C matters, they should withdraw this implementation.
